Pharmacy Technician-

Requirements: Grandview Pharmacy is looking for Pharmacy Technicians licensed in the State of Indiana. Applicants who do not have a technician license will be required to obtain a Pharmacy Tech-in-Training permit through the Indiana Board of Pharmacy.

Applicants must be eager to learn; have ambition and drive; find satisfaction out of a job well done; have good communication skills; be energetic and willing to go above and beyond expectations.

Applicants will be required to assist in the dispensing process of daily medication orders, over the counter orders, 30-day supply orders, unit-dose and multi-dose packaging, non-sterile compounding, and IV preparations. Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds and stand on feet for extended periods of time.

 

Pharmacy Audit and Customer Service Specialist-

Grandview Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Audit and Customer Service Specialist. This position aides the Director of Quality Assurance in researching quality assurance issues, including but not limited to, internal and external audits and customer relations issues. Duties will include:

  • 1. Researching reported quality assurance issues;
  • 2. Communicating with clients during issue investigations;
  • 3. Drafting quality control reports; going out in the field to meet with clients and present findings; and
  • 4. Serving in a customer relations capacity. Individual will report to the Director of Quality Control.

Qualifications:

  • 1. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, OR;
  • 2.One to two years experience in pharmacy, OR;
  • 3.Any appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • 4.Organizational and follow-up skills, and attention to detail.
  • 5.Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills.

  • 7.Competent in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • 13. Pharmacy or healthcare experience, preferred, including a working knowledge of drug and supplement dosing, administration, and brand-generic identification.

 

Pharmacy Billing Specialist

Full- time pharmacy billing specialist to work scheduled hours of  8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. 4 days weekly and 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. 1 day weekly (most likely Wednesdays or Thursdays), and at least one Saturday per month (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.). 1 year billing experience preferred withworking knowledge of Medicare D program. Pharmacy technician background preferred with the drive to learn the following areas: pharmacy billing, pharmacy related customer service, Framework Software, and/or pharmacy related data entry.  Duties will include answering telephone calls, data entry, verifying insurance eligibility, and other billing duties.

 

  • Part Time (less than 30 hours/week)

Delivery Driver- 3 rd shift

Essential Functions of Job:

  • 1. Efficiently and accurately delivery pharmaceutical products to long term care facilities.
  • 2. Candidate must possess ability to drive at night and find addresses in the dark.
  • 3. Candidate must also have excellent customer service skills.

Shifts:

  • 1. Approximately 8 hour shifts starting at 8 p.m. Monday – Friday and 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
  • 2. Candidate must be able to work at least 2 weekends per month.
  • 3. Position will require approximately 15-30 hours per week and will consist of any combination of shifts mentioned.
  • 4. Must be willing to be available on days off for Stat runs.

 

Car Care & Maintenance Technician- 1 st and 2 nd shift

Essential Functions of Job:

  • Handle the scheduling and transportation of company vehicles which require maintenance;
  • Create and maintain a schedule for company vehicle maintenance;
  • Maintain the grounds of the pharmacy, internally and externally, which will include, but is not limited to:
    • Mopping floors;
    • Vacuuming;
    • Shoveling snow;
    • Cutting grass;
    • Washing windows;
    • Trash maintenance.
